As the time for our departure grows nearer and the fundraiser is coming together my cousin Erik and I are steadily growing in anticipation and in gratefulness towards our Lord for blessing us with the ability to conduct this trip/fundraiser.
Preparations are beginning to come into full swing and work on the fundraiser is going to have to increase dramatically in the next couple weeks, and because of the above I ask for your prayer that Erik and I would stay in the word through the busyness, prioritize appropriately and that the Lord would give us good success in the diligent work of our hands. For it says in his word, "Delight thyself also in the Lord; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. psalms 37:4," and in Colossians 3:23 "And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men."

Our desire is to make this escapade into a fundraising/evangelical success that we can remember not only by the sweet bike ride but also by the lives that have been forever changed through our contact along the way and from the support we generated for the work of world vision. And we're both stoked and excited to get underway!

In anticipation,
Nathan

  1. Added your blog to my blog list on my blog so I can keep up with your travels!! Have fun! I still picture you as a 1st grader running into our house, ready to sing your latest composition to God. Now my youngest just graduated 1st grade! :)
